The United Nations is calling on governments, businesses and people across the globe to scale up efforts to conserve forests and forest species.

The Global organization importantly stressed the need to support and listen to the voices of forest communities.

The UN secretary general – Antonio Guetteres made the call on the occasion of the 2021 world wildlife day celebrated on March 3.
