The United Nations Refugee agency (UNHCR) Wednesday said thousands of Eritrean refugees living in two separate camps in Tigray are desperate need of basic supplies.
According to UNHCR, many of the Eritreans were forced to flee their country and seek refuge in neighboring Ethiopia to escape conscription and political persecution.
The agency stated that the military offensive operation by the Ethiopian Army against the Tigrayan forces has hindered supply to these camps.
