Media professionals in Togo are concerned about the various arrests that have targeted them throughout last year.
The latest arrest is that of Carlos Ketohou, a journalist with the daily "L'indépendant Express" for press offences.
Detained for several days, the journalist was questioned on Monday at the HAAC premises on the content of his article which incriminates him according to the authorities.
Carlos Ketohou had been arrested during the night of 29 December by agents of the intelligence service before being released on 2 January.
His arrest is a hard blow for press freedom in Togo, says Isidore Akolor, president of the Togolese press employers' association.
