The Chamber of Agribusiness, Ghana has raised red flags about the poor yield of corn in the country this year. This the chamber says is a result of the coronavirus pandemic and climate change as well. Speaking to WADR’s Atiewin Mbillah-Lawson, CEO of the Chamber Anthony Morison said the current situation has resulted in the doubling of the price of corn which is a stable in the country, adding that the food security situation in the country could worsen if not managed properly.
