Ghana: Election observers adjudge polls ‘peaceful’

Election observers have adjudged the just ended presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana as peaceful.

They say voting passed off peacefully with a few reported minor incidents at some polling stations.

The election ended last evening and vote counting is currently underway.

Levina Mensah of the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding has been speaking to WADR about her organization’s assessment of the elections.
