Former Senegal midfielder Papa Bouba Diop has died aged 42. Diop was capped 63 times by his country, scoring 11 goals including the opening goal of the 2002 World Cup against France, to guide Senegal to a shock victory over the then defending champions. Some of his former clubs include, ASC Diaraf, RC Lens, Portsmouth, Fulham, West Ham and Birmingham City.
