Twelve presidential candidates have been cleared to contest the 2020 general elections in Ghana. The twelve include front runners President Nana Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama who successfully completed and submitted their nomination forms last month as well as three female Presidential candidates.
While the candidates and parties who have been given the green light intensify their campaigns, 5 candidates disqualified have vowed to challenge their exclusion.
