In an inspiring move to strengthen awareness around financial security, GIABA recently hosted an open forum in The Gambia, drawing 200 young participants to discuss key issues surrounding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT). This event provided an essential platform for youth engagement, focusing on the risks posed by illicit financial activities and the importance of safeguarding the region’s financial systems.
Through informative discussions and interactive sessions, participants gained insights into how AML and CFT measures can protect communities and ensure a more secure future.
