The spokesperson for the African People’s Party of Côte d’Ivoire (PPA-CI), Dr Koné Katinan, has reacted to the statements of the president of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), Ibrahim Koulibaly Kuibiert, concerning the removal of former President Laurent Gbagbo from the electoral list.

It was during the exchange meeting called the PPA-CI platform.

The president of the CEI, speaking to MPs, had stated that former President Laurent Gbagbo could only be on the electoral list when he enjoys his civil and political rights.

These comments were, however, quickly rejected by the opposition party.
