Three persons have been confirmed dead after a rock blast happened around Buduburam, a community along the Accra-Winneba Highway on Wednesday.

This tragic incident is said to have happened during an ongoing construction on the highway, during which a dynamite was blasted inside some big stones.

Reports indicate that the blast, which lasted for a few minutes, occurred when traffic was halted to allow the activity to continue.
