Senegal’s General Directorate of Elections has released the provisional list of political parties and coalitions approved for the upcoming early legislative elections in November.

A total of around forty names have been validated. Among them are the ruling party PASTEF, a list led by former President Macky Sall, the one headed by Dakar’s Mayor Barthélémy Dias, and the list led by former Prime Minister Amadou Ba, who was an unsuccessful candidate in the last presidential election.
