The Peace Consult Cabinet has been launched in Dakar. This launch marks an important step in the quest for lasting solutions for peace in West Africa and focuses on restoring the social and cultural fabric of communities.

Throughout the years, the sub-region has faced challenges in upholding continuous peace and good governance due to security threats stemming from violent extremists, political crises, and terrorism.

As addressing these challenges necessitates a united effort from both state and non-state actors, this initiative has been formally launched in Senegal to bolster the battle against insecurity in the region.
