The World Bank has secured an additional $117 million to extend the Ghana Learning and Accountability Outcomes Project (GALOP) to all public schools.
The grant, from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), aims to boost early education by enhancing pupils’ skills and preparedness.
World Bank Country Director Dr. Robert Taliercio credited the expansion to GALOP’s success in improving low-performing schools.
With total funding now at $335.83 million, GALOP will strengthen education quality, equity, and accountability across Ghana.
