In Ghana, the largest opposition National Democratic Congress party (NDC) has officially announced professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman as the running mate to its flagbearer John Mahama for the highly anticipated December 2024 general elections.

The party underscored Opoku-Agyeman’s distinguished career in academia, leadership, and unwavering commitment to education and public service in making the decision.
