Gambia’s Chief Justice, Hassan B. Jallow, has revealed that the shortage of courtrooms in the country is a major factor contributing to delays in court cases.

Outlining the challenges encountered by the judiciary, the legal expert highlighted additional issues such as the scarcity of ink and paper for printing, which further compounds the delays in legal proceedings.
