Over 900 rebels in Chad affiliated with the Union of Forces for Democracy and Development (UFDD), a coalition of rebel groups under the leadership of General Mahamat Nouri Allatchi, have reportedly decided to disarm.

Media reports suggest that the subsequent phase involves their reintegration.
