The Nigerian Senate has declared a two-week suspension of plenary sessions to facilitate the swift consideration of the 2024 National Budget.

President Bola Tinubu presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill, amounting to 27.5 trillion Naira approximately 34.6 billion USD, during a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
