African heads of state are convening in Germany for the G20 Compact with Africa conference over the next two days.
The conference’s objective is to enhance private investment in the world’s poorest yet rapidly growing continent.
Reflecting a renewed interest in Africa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte are among the prominent leaders participating in the summit in Berlin.
