The annual  16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign commenced this year with a three-day workshop for journalists in the sub-region and gender activists in Saly, Thies region.

According to UN Women, this year’s theme calls for increased investment in the prevention of violence against women and girls.
