A regional forum focusing on climate, peace, and security in the Sahel commenced in Mali on Thursday.
The primary objective of this forum is to tackle the challenges posed by climate change and security concerns in the Liptako-Gourma region, which is a shared area among Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
Over the course of three days, the forum will convene decision-makers and experts from these three nations, all working collaboratively to seek sustainable solutions to address these critical issues.
