The Gambia and Senegal have solidified their commitment to bolstering their economic, trade, and investment sectors through the signing of a cooperation agreement.
The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was formalized during the inaugural edition of the Economic Trade and Investment Forum in Dakar. This forum is designed to spotlight Gambian culture in Senegal and promote The Gambia within the region.
The two-day event aims to enhance the longstanding bilateral ties between The Gambia and Senegal.
Notable attendees include Senegalese Prime Minister Amadou Ba, Gambian Vice President Muhammad Jallo, senior government officials, entrepreneurs from both countries, and members of the diplomatic corps.
