The official results of the election in Liberia will be disclosed following the rerun scheduled for today at two polling stations in Nimba County.

This decision comes after ballot boxes went missing subsequent to the presidential and legislative elections held on October 10, 2023.

Chairperson of the electoral commission, Davidetta Brown Lansana, said a total of seven individuals have been apprehended and subsequently presented in court on charges related to the theft of the ballot boxes.
