Niger’s Prime Minister Ali Lamine Zeine met the country’s stakeholders.

The purpose of the meeting was to take stock of negotiations with ECOWAS.

Algerian mediation in the country’s political crisis, recently suspended by Algiers, was also discussed.

Niger’s Minister of Interior who took part in the meeting brought up discussions of the departure of the French force from the country, accusing Paris of intending to destabilize Niger.
