The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has become the first state-owned oil company in the world to join the United Nations Global Compact. 

The Letter of Commitment was signed at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, with the CEO of NNPC Ltd.
