Former President of Niger, Mohammadou Issoufou has expressed his support for an ECOWAS military intervention in Niger as a final resort to reinstating constitutional rule.

The former head of state in an interview with Jeune Afrique stressed his support for the restoration of ousted President Mohamed Bazoum.
