A combined force of the Burkinabe and Nigerien armies, on Saturday, escorted a convoy of trucks transporting diverse commodities.

311 trucks journeyed from Dori in the northern region of Burkina Faso to Niamey according to media reports.

The convoy carrying various merchandise was transported to support the Nigerien populace after being stranded for two months in Kaya; located in northern Burkina Faso.
