President Adama Barrow has hailed his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall for his declaration to step aside in the general election in Senegal.
President Barrow described the decision as a major influence on the democratic aspirations of the Senegalese population.
The Gambian leader said President Sall’s decision is worthy of emulation by other African leaders
In his speech during the Senegalo-Gambian Council meeting in Banjul, Barrow also called for the swift implementation of the agreements reached by Gambian and Senegalese experts.
