The Nigerien Armed Forces arrested three armed bandits and intercepted forty 40 illegal gold miners, in the north of the country, Agadez region over the weekend. 

A statement by the Armed Forces information unit revealed that three rifles and ammunition, one metal detector two motorcycles and twenty vehicles without national license plates were also seized.

In the West, during a combing operation in the middle of last week, thirty-two motorcycles were destroyed, five suspects and one terrorist apprehended.

In the east of the country, the elements of the mixed multinational force intercepted and seized enemy logistics and a detachment arrested an Emir who was alleged to be a collaborator.
