The Confederation of African Football CAF has announced the date for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup final qualifying round.
The African football governing body has unveiled that the final round of the qualifiers will be played in March.
The first leg of the matches will be played on March 11, 12,or 13, 2022 while the return legs are expected to be played on March 25, 26 or 27, 2022.
Four countries namely, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal will battle for the two available spots for Africa.
In the first leg, Ethiopia will take on Ghana while Nigeria will lock horns with Senegal.
In a similar development, CAF also announced February for the second and final qualifiers for the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2022.
The first leg is scheduled for 16 to 18 February 2022 and the return leg five days later on 21 and 23 February 2022.
