Fifteen Turkish sailors who were last month kidnapped by pirates off the West African coast have regained their freedom after 21 days and returned home.

On Sunday, the Turkish news agency, Anadolu, said the freed hostages were welcomed at Istanbul Airport by their families and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
