A road accident in the town of Binao, Cote d’Ivoire, has caused the deaths of 12 persons.
According to information, the tragedy occurred on the Duékoué -Man axis, precisely in Binao a few kilometers from Bangolo.
Although the real cause of the accident is yet to be communicated, it is believed that it resulted from over-speeding by the driver of the public transport vehicle, followed by a flat tire.
Amond the deceased were four women, with five people seriously injured, the civil firefighters of the Civil Protection Center of Duékoué indicated.
It should be noted that days earlier, another road accident happened near Nabiréguékaha, on the Ferkessédougou-Kong axis, leaving four people injured.
