Guinea Bissau’s President Umaro Sissoco Embalo appointed Rui Duarte Barros as Prime Minister, replacing Geraldo Martins.
According to a source close to the Guinea-Bissau presidency, Rui Duarte Barros was a deputy of PAI Terra Ranka, the majority group formed around the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde, in the recently dissolved National Assembly.
