The 10th Africa Students and Youth Summit is set to take place online from the 22nd to 23rd of July.
The event, which is annually organised by the All-Africa Students Union, aims to convene major stakeholders in the education and youth development ecosystem to discuss major developmental issues.
It is known to be the biggest youth and students’ program tackling such issues.
This year, the summit aims to host three breakout sessions under the broader theme “Act, Inspire and scale-up – giving a fair share to end child labour.”
Organisers noted that even though global efforts towards tackling child labour are commendable, stakeholders should take stock of the progress made and come up with ways to inform the direction going forward.
Child rights activists, education policy experts, ministers of states, student leaders and many other individuals will also be partaking in the conference.
