One thousand young Ivoirians have been captured for a digital training program that aims to give youths the necessary skills to manage the digital sector.

The program was flagged off Tuesday by the Ivorian Ministry for Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service in collaboration with African Digital Academy.

The beneficiaries are aged 18 to 40 years in the digital professions.

This program, at 475 million FCFA, will equally help young people improve their employability skills in the labor market or embark on entrepreneurial initiatives.

The Minister of Youth Promotion, Mamadou Touré, during the opening ceremony, said the project is part of the training, retraining, and requalification system of the Agence Emploi-Jeunes.

In addition, the Minister announced that registrations for this training program are open on the website of the Agence Emploi-Jeunes from August 8 to 22, 2023 cities including Abidjan, Yamoussoukro Bouaké, Daloa, and Korhogo.
