While many of us worry about malaria, cholera or Lassa fever, a group of diseases continues to spread quietly, often unnoticed, untreated, and underestimated.

NTDs, they rarely make headlines, yet they affect millions, causing lifelong disability, stigma, and poverty.

As the world marks World NTDs Day 2026, stakeholders in Nigeria are raising the alarm, urging citizens and government alike not to ignore diseases that may begin silently but leave devastating consequences.
