The World Food Programme WFP says more than half of households in the Gambia are experiencing food insecurity.

It further states about 24 percent of households in the country experience inadequate food consumption.

These remarks were made during the launching of the Coordination Committee of the country’s first Fill the Nutrient Gap analysis process.
