Members of the European Union and the United States have pledged support in the form of vaccine donations to African countries battling the current MPOX outbreak.

The support comes on the heels of the continued spread of the viral disease including in Europe and Asia

While already burdened African nations report an increase in infection rates including Guinea with nine confirmed cases, Mozambique on Tuesday recorded its first case.
