With Côte d’Ivoire’s presidential election set for October 30th, West Africa Democracy Radio (WADR) is stepping up efforts to promote peace and informed participation.
This Wednesday in Abidjan, WADR will host a forum on democracy and governance under the theme: “Consolidating Democratic Processes: How to Prepare Côte d’Ivoire for a Peaceful Presidential Election.”
The initiative aims to strengthen civic engagement by using the power of media to educate and mobilize voters, reinforcing the media’s vital role in supporting democratic transitions.
The event underscores WADR’s ongoing commitment to peace, accountability, and credible elections in the region.
