A latest report released by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) and Bond UK highlights several significant challenges that global civil society organizations face in implementing sustainable programs.

Titled “FCDO Engagement Report on Shaping the Future of Centrally Managed Civil Society and Civic Space Programming,” the document was developed through a global engagement exercise funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office.

Key findings and recommendations draw insights from civil society leaders across the UK, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, and the Indo-Pacific region.

The report was launched on Wednesday via Zoom, and extensive discussions were held regarding its findings, recommendations, and the way forward.
