At least 90 people have been killed and another 12 remain missing after days of torrential rain triggered widespread flooding and landslides across Vietnam.
According to government officials, more than 186,000 homes have been damaged, and over three million livestock have been swept away. Economic losses are estimated to run into hundreds of millions of pounds.
The mountainous province of Dak Lak has been the worst hit, recording more than 60 deaths since 16 November.
The severe flooding comes on the heels of two recent typhoons—Kalmaegi and Bualoi, which struck the country just weeks apart.
Officials say around 258,000 people were still without electricity on Sunday morning, while key highways and parts of the national rail network remain blocked.
