Across West and Central Africa, an estimated 46.7 million children are forecast to require humanitarian assistance next year due to ongoing conflict and different security challenges.
The United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF in a report released on Thursday, the central Sahel region and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have the majority of the number.
It said also Chad has lately reported a massive displacement of women and children into the country from Sudan.
