U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a 90-day suspension of the controversial 10 percent trade tariff recently imposed on over 75 countries.

The decision, made via his social media platform, follows growing international pushback, with several nations warning of reciprocal measures.

While the pause is intended to cool tensions and open space for dialogue, China remains an exception, now facing U.S. tariffs of up to 125%.

Beijing, in response, had earlier unveiled an 84 percent retaliatory tax on American imports, escalating the trade dispute between the two powers.
