Nigerian troops under Operation Lafiyan Jama’a have achieved significant progress in counter-banditry operations across Kaduna and Plateau States.

In separate missions, soldiers successfully neutralised armed suspects, repelled a militia attack, and carried out strategic arrests in troubled communities.

The operations are part of ongoing efforts to stabilise Nigeria’s north-central region, which continues to face security threats.

Authorities say the successes demonstrate growing momentum in the fight against banditry and insurgency.
