Transparency International is warning that the growing boldness of inducements threatens public confidence in Ghana’s electoral process.

The anti-graft organisation has criticised alleged vote-buying during the February 7 parliamentary primary organised by the ruling National Democratic Congress in the Ayawaso East Constituency.

Transparency International Ghana is calling for punitive action against those involved, institutional reforms within political parties, and swift criminal investigations to prevent future abuses.
