The authorities in Togo and the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe have signed an agreement, abolishing entry Visas between the two countries.
This agreement was reached in Lome on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Togolese Minister of Foreign Affairs Robert Dussey signed on behalf of Togo, while Gareth Haddad do Espiritu Santo Guadalupe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities, signed on behalf of Sao Tome- and and-Principle.
In their separate remarks, the two diplomats said the entry visa waiver agreement would allow citizens of the two countries to intensify their exchanges in the economic and tourist fields.
It should also strengthen the ties of cooperation and friendship between Lomé and Sao Tomé.
According to the agreement, holders of all types of passports can travel reciprocally in the two countries, without a visa for stays not exceeding ninety (90) days.
