Togo has launched a nationwide malaria vaccination campaign as part of its Expanded Program on Immunization for children aged 0 to 5 years.
The integrated vaccine program was officially introduced into the country’s health sector on September 1, 2025.
Authorities say the initiative is a critical step in reducing malaria cases, which remain a leading cause of illness and death among young children.
The program underscores Togo’s commitment to strengthening public health and safeguarding vulnerable populations from preventable diseases.
