President Bola Tinubu has called for intensified efforts to combat insecurity across Nigeria, citing national stability as a top priority.

Speaking through Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Nigerian Air Force’s 61st anniversary, he emphasized the need for a modernized and mission-ready military.

The event saw the handover of two helicopters to the Air Force, signaling ongoing defense investments by Tinubu’s administration.

With unrest persisting in the northern regions, lawmakers have also urged troop redeployment to address growing threats.
