The Liberia National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
A total of 51,719 candidates wrote the exams across 379 centers nationwide. Out of this number, 822 candidates earned credits in at least five subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Additionally, 28,576 candidates secured passes in five subjects, while 37,081 candidates obtained passes in at least four subjects — both categories meeting the required benchmark of English and Mathematics.
Head of WAEC Liberia, Dale Gbotoe, described the outcome as an encouraging step forward, urging students and schools to build on this performance in subsequent years.
