The Nigerian Army has vowed to rescue the over 200 schoolchildren who were abducted last week by bandits in the northwestern state of Kaduna.
Speaking of the military’s commitment is Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations.
The army chief’s assurance came the same day as President Bola Tinubu’s directive to the security sector to rescue all kidnapped victims while reiterating his government’s zero tolerance for such acts.
WADR’s Usman Umar in Abuja completes the story.
