Members of the National Assembly in The Gambia have initiated discussions on the Public Order Amendment Bill 2023, aiming at revising Section 5 of the legislation.
The proposed change intends to align Section 5 of the Public Order Act with global standards and the directives set forth by the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights.
